The spot price of lithium hexafluorophosphate has risen. From the perspective of the reasons, on the one hand, since the second half of the year, the release of domestic lithium hexafluorophosphate production capacity has not been large, and the actual supply and demand of the industry is in a tight balance. After the price drop and market adjustment in the first half of the year, the production capacity release of second- and third-tier manufacturers has stagnated significantly. Only one or two leading companies that can actually put into production according to the production expansion plan are left, and the largest Tianci materials are mainly self-supplied. .

On the other hand, since the third quarter, the price of lithium carbonate has risen again. Considering that the low-priced lithium carbonate inventory of enterprises has been cleared, the purchase price of lithium carbonate will follow the market, and the cost of lithium hexafluorophosphate has increased compared with the first half of the year, and the demand for price increases is obvious.

It is worth mentioning that, based on the market expectations of lithium hexafluorophosphate in the TWh era, since 2021, in addition to the original lithium hexafluorophosphate enterprises, a large number of new entrants have also poured into the lithium hexafluorophosphate track, and have officially announced the expansion of production. It is estimated that the theoretical planned production capacity has far exceeded the expected market demand.

The analysis believes that it is very unlikely that the price of lithium hexafluorophosphate will rise sharply like last year, and the price of lithium hexafluorophosphate may fluctuate within a reasonable range in the future. With the successive landing and climbing of the production capacity of lithium hexafluorophosphate of various enterprises, there will be a situation where the supply is significantly greater than the demand, which will suppress the price of lithium hexafluorophosphate.
